AC/DC is touring in Europe and Australia in the month of February, gearing up for their Stiff Upper Lip Part II jaunt that will hit the states in March. Stiff Upper Lip has become yet another platinum-plus disc (Back In Black was just certified for sales of 19 million copies) for the world's greatest rock band! AC/DC was honored recently by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling in excess of 70 million records. 70 million folks! AC/DC now reigns as the fifth highest certified band in U.S. history, behind The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Elektra label mates, The Eagles. Angus Young, the band's ace guitarist and spiritual adviser, had this to say about the commemoration: "Now, maybe, we'll each be able to get our own hotel room when we hit the states."
