Hello All...

At last, I`ve some news you`ve all been waiting for...the website goes online next friday (19th March) and the tickets will be on sale at the end of the month..priced at £85 (sterling) for a 3 day pass. Sorry I can`t provide day tickets, the demand has been too great. All info will be on the site, although we will be adding other attractions later as they`re confirmed.

It`s taken till now to iron out all the problems and I`m very sorry to have kept you all hanging on like this whilst you`ve waited for updates. We`re still in discussion with the aftershow party venue which has held up ticketing information but basically, the first XXX tickets bought (number being confirmed at the moment) will have free admission to the party on both nights. This will be exclusively for all the bands, crew and guests to unwind afterwards and meet some of the punters.

I`m anticipating a huge demand for tickets so you will receive an email informing you of ticket release before they go on sale to the general public. This will give you about two days to buy before they are available to everyone else. I`m unable to sell direct to those who have enquired so this is the easiest way to ensure you get tickets.

I`ve also been working on finding a camp site close to the venue (for those who`ve asked) and it`s looking good at the moment, full details as soon as it`s confirmed. I`ve still got to present a report to the Health and Safety office before they will ok the site, but its looking promising at the moment.

Other accommodation locally will be..

300 rooms on site at the university (plus other student halls in town) you can book these through the accommodation officer - details on website.

150 private student rooms (10 mins walk away) bookable through the housing association who manage them. Contact details on website.

Various hotels, guest houses and B&B`s.. details as far as possible on website / plus tourist info office details.

I`m also arranging for a small unofficial "after event party" which will be after the sunday evening closes.. at a pub in the town centre. (you`ll be able to tell I like my partying!!) Those of you who don`t have to rush off will be able to kick back when it`s all over and get silly.

Hope to see all of you there...LET THERE BE ROCK!!!!!!
Regards,
Andy.
